CITY NATIONAL BANK NAMES DOUG STEPHENS AS PRESIDENT
LAWTON, OKLA. – December 2024 – The Board of Directors of City National Bank & Trust is excited to announce a new President; Doug Stephens. Doug will assume the presidency role from George Porter who currently holds Chief Executive Officer and President. Mr. Porter will remain Chief Executive Officer of CNB. The change will be January 1st, 2025.
Mr. Stephens is no stranger to City National Bank, dedicating the last 24 years of service to the company. He most recently served as the bank’s Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, where he was responsible for managing the bank’s lending operations across all of Oklahoma and Kansas. He began his employment with CNB in June of 2000 as a retail banker at the Walmart-Sheridan branch in Lawton.

Stephens graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a Bachelor’s in Science in 1999. He earned an associate’s degree in Business Administration from Tulsa Community College in 2005 and continued his education at Northeastern State University in Broken Arrow, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2006 and his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in 2016. Stephens is also a 2022 graduate of The Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Separately, Stephens has a deep passion to serve the community and currently serves as the President of the Greater Lawton Rotary Club, President of the Lawton Ft. Sill FIRES Patriots, Treasurer of the Lawton Ft. Sill Chamber of Commerce, and as a Board Member of Comanche County Memorial Hospital Starlight Foundation, Association of the United States Army (AUSA) and The Lawton Rotary Leadership Institute
Stephens was raised in Cache and after nearly 15 years in Tulsa, recently returned to Lawton where he resides with his wife, Erica. Together, they have three children.
