Big changes are coming to how you manage your debit card with City National Bank. Coming this June, our new *Card Control feature will be live in the CityNet App, offering you smarter, more powerful ways to stay on top of your spending and security.
As part of this upgrade, Card Freeze will retire on June 16. A NEW optional suite of enhanced debit card tools will give you more control than ever before.
With the new *Card Control, you’ll be able to customize your debit card activity like never before. Features include:
• Set limits by:
o Location
o Merchant Type
o Transaction Type
o Spend Amount
• Receive real-time alerts to know exactly when and where your card is used
• Manage travel plans with ease
• Report a card lost or stolen right from the app
• Set or change your card PIN securely
• See where your card is stored on file across online merchants and services
This update is part of our ongoing commitment to provide you with modern, secure, and user-friendly digital banking tools.
Card freeze is retiring on June 16. Customers who have their card frozen will not be able to unfreeze their card via online banking after June 16. To unfreeze your card, you will need to contact Customer Service via secure message, chat or by calling 866.385.3444. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
